Wendy McGuinness is a dynamic trainer with nationally recognised qualifications in adult learning. She is a seasoned journalist, with almost 20 years’ experience on both sides of the media fence. As a journalist she has worked in news for ABC Radio, Radio Australia, the Austereo Network, 2WS 3AW and 3MP. In those roles she has covered everything from politics to sport, including the waterfront dispute and the Commonwealth Games. Wendy also worked as a media officer with the NSW Police Service, including as press secretary to the Police Minister, and as a media adviser with Tourism NSW. As well as understanding how the media works, Wendy has impeccable presentation skills, is a polished news reader, and does regular voice-over work for private and government agencies. She worked as a journalist with Media Skills™ for more than a decade, before undergoing the rigorous trainer accreditation program.
